Botox®

Made from a purified protein, Botox® is commonly used to reduce or eliminate the appearance of unwanted wrinkles and lines that appear on the face. There are 43 muscles in the face that can impact the unwanted signs of aging and nearly every facial movement can produce wrinkles and lines. Botox works to weaken the underlying wrinkle-causing muscles in the face. Dr. Swail’s knowledge of the facial structure allows him the ability to target only the muscles creating the lines and wrinkles ensuring the result will look natural and unaltered.

Botox injections can be done in mere minutes and can give the face a rejuvenated, younger, and fresher appearance for months. As the Botox begins to wear off, wrinkles will return and additional procedures will be necessary to maintain a wrinkle free appearance.

Soft Tissue Fillers

Soft tissue fillers are cosmetic procedures that are used to restore fullness, plump lips, enhance shallow contours, or soften facial lines and wrinkles. Often referred to as “liquid facelifts,” soft tissue fillers can offer the benefits of a facelift without the downtime and recovery time. While soft tissue fillers have temporary results, results can last up to a year following the procedure. There are multiple options for soft tissue fillers that will serve different purposes, have varying effects, and the length of each procedure’s results will differ. Dr. Swail will perform a full examination and consultation to determine which soft tissue filler will deliver the best results.

Laser Resurfacing

Laser skin resurfacing, commonly referred to as a “laser peel,” is a nonsurgical cosmetic procedure that removes the outer layer of skin that has been damaged over time. By removing the damaged outer layer, a younger and smoother layer of skin is revealed. Laser resurfacing can be used to treat wrinkles, fine lines, sun-damage, uneven pigmentation, and superficial scarring. Although laser skin resurfacing is most often performed on the face, it can also be used to treat skin conditions on the hands and neck.

Laser skin resurfacing uses a CO2 laser beam with precisely focused light to vaporize the outer layer of skin to reveal the undamaged layer beneath. As the skin heals from the procedure, collagen is naturally produced providing patients with a fuller, younger facial appearance.
